| Touch and go of the second prototype T-10K-2 (Blue 39) of the See Flanker. This photo nicely shows four arresting wires on the Kuznetsov's deck, jump-ramp and carrier's antenna arrays. Note the carrier born Flanker's short sting, segmented flaps and hook. Piloted by Victor Pugatchev, blue 39 was the first aircraft to come abord Kuznetsov on November 1, 1989, exactly eight years ago. Yefim Gordon archive. |
