GapF vympelVVS

This is a vympel [pennon] of the Voenno-vozdushnye sily Rossii [Russian air force]. In the center is a traditional VVS banner with two-headed eagle replacing the red star. On top of the composition is poorly drawn Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker. Note that the asymmetry of the jet blast make it look like Su-37. Under the banner is four-engined Sikorsky bomber circa WWI. The star at the very bottom signify the role of VVS in WWII. An image of Georgi Popedonosets is shown on the shield in front of the two-headed eagle. A patch sized scaled down version of the vympel was seen on the right sleeve of RusAF Commander-in-Chief Piotr Deinekin's uniform.
