Behind the Red Army barracks and stadium, there is a dirt strip museum of retired military planes; a huge variety, all de-engined and outdoors.

...And as long as you are in the neighborhood, drop by the Central Army Museum, which has lotsa stuff - SS-8 on display outside, Gary Powers and Genetrix stuff inside, and much much much more.

The contrast between the space and army museums is quite striking. The Army's celebration of the Heroic Victory Over the Forces of Hitlerite Fascism in the Great Patriotic War remains intact, and is quite moving.
