On the grounds of the large exhibition complex in the center of Moscow (formerly known as VDNKh), one will find a trio of aircraft in front of the Vostok launcher. One of them - Tupolev Tu-154 - hosts a miniature museum and a bookstore. For a ridiculously small fee visitors can climb on board of the Tupolev and familiarize with small collection which took up space in the forward fuselage of the aircraft. Photographing of the cockpit is permitted for additional charge. Ivan Afanas'evich Fartushin is curator of this tiny exhibition. Formerly employed by Tupolev he was involved in flight testing of the Tu-154 including the airframe on display which is fifth development aircraft.

A second passenger jet on display is Yakovlev Yak-42. Airframe is utilized as a cafe.

The Yak-36M/38 yellow 11 is most recent addition to VDNKh aircraft. The past of this aircraft is not clear, although it came from either Monino or Chkalovskaya. The future is even less certain - aircraft was offered for sale. It shows some signs of abuse, but it appears to be in relatively good shape.
