Russian aerospace in glossies: Introduction

This brand new section of Russian Aviation Page is intended to picture Russian aerospace using its own words -- advertising material. Other than providing manufacturer's performance data for enthusiastic but not very knowledgeable, these "corporate glossies" reflect very much the state of the art of today's aerospace industry. A marketing effort made in past years is noticeable: level of presentation and professionalism had increased. Russia's growing share in world's arms trade rather nicely highlights this observation. The first installment of the series -- State machine building design bureau Vympel.
