Aero Club Milano has a long standing sport activity, having organized in 1932 the first Italian Air Rally competition, Giro di Lombardia, disputed since then with the only interruption of WW2, in 1975 the first Italian Aerobatic competition,Trofeo Roberto CRIPPA and in 1994 the first ever Aerobatic 4' Freestyle contest, Trofeo REGGIANI.
Club's pilots participated in several contests, winning a number of Italian Championships in various disciplines and distinguishing themselves even abroad as National Teams Members.
Nowadays, preminent sport activity is Aerobatics, for which the Clubs offers four aircraft for training and competition besides an interesting staff of instructors and trainers,
Pilots and instructors form the Aerobatic Group (Gruppo Acrobatico), strong of some 50 pilots challenging in various categories: charismatic leadership of Sergio DALLAN, 20-times Italian Unlimited Champion, together with his disposition to teaching, are a valid reference for any pilot, young or not, wishing to begin flying sport aerobatics.
Sergio is supported by his pupil and "faithful squire" Luca Salvadori as certified flight instructor and by Organizing Secretary Andrea Maccapani.
