ENGLISH RADIO-TELEPHONY ENDORSEMENT (PDF)

This is information package to get a English Radio-Telephony Endorsement at Aero Club Milano FTO (Flight Training Organization). 1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
   • Current PPL(A/H) or more, or enrollment in a course to obtain a flight license.
2. GROUND AND FLIGHT COURSE.
   Aero Club Milano FTO organizes English Radio-Telephony Endorsement courses over the year. Lessons schedule is published in advance to allow students to be properly informed.
   • GROUND COURSE. Ground course (20h) is held in the classroom: subjects include english aviation phraseology and procedures according to JAR Rules. Practical training is held in specially equipped classrooms to reproduce and explain real flight situations.
3. EXAMS.
   As soon as satisfactory knowledge and proficiency is reached, a pre-exam is held in the FTO. If this exam is passed, the student is presented to ENAC for formal exam and endorsemen issue. Exam is held in english with a written multiple-answer test and a talk with the examiner.
4. COSTS.
   Fare is €200,-.
5. DOCUMENTS.
   Since English RT Endorsement is a legal document, it is necessary to open a folder at ENAC (Italian Aviation Authority) including the following documents and certificates. Burocratic part is taken care of by Aero Club Milano under student's delegation and is part of services offered by the Club.
