This is information package to get a MEP (Multi-Engine Piston) rating at Aero Club Milano FTO (Flight Training Organization).   1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
    • Current PPL(A).
    • 70h PIC.
  2. GROUND AND FLIGHT COURSE.
    Aero Club Milano FTO organizes MEP (Multi-Engine Piston) rating courses over the year. Lessons schedule is published in advance to allow students to be properly informed. Lessons schedule is published in advance to allow students to be properly informed.
    • GROUND COURSE. Ground course (6h) is held in the classroom: subjects include airplane systems and flight manual of the airplane used for flight training (PA34).
    • FLIGHT COURSE. Flight training (4h minimum) is performed on relevant FTO airplanes (PA34, see Fleet) under the responsibility of the assigned Flight Instructor.
  3. EXAMS.
    At the end of the course a final test is performed. No ENAC exam is required: Flight Instructor will issue a statement of proficiency as soon as the required skill level is reached.
  4. COSTS.
    Ground course fare is €100,-. Flight activity is fared according to (vedi Standard Costs).
  5. DOCUMENTS.
    Since VP+RU rating is a legal document, it is necessary to open a folder at ENAC (Italian Aviation Authority) including the following documents and certificates. Burocratic part is taken care of by Aero Club Milano under student's delegation and is part of services offered by the Club.
