FI REFRESHER SEMINAR (PDF)

This is information package for Flight Instructor Refreshing Seminar at Aero Club Milano FTO (Flight Training Organization). 1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
   • Current PPL(A) or above.
   • Current FI(A), IRI(A), CRI(A) rating.
2. GROUND COURSE.
   Aero Club Milano FTO organizes FI(A) Refresher Seminars over the year. Attending an FI(A) Refresher Seminar is required to renew FI, IRI, CRI ratings for 3-yearly expiration, together with one of the conditions below:
   • At least 100h given training as FI, CRI, IRI o FE during rating validity time, of which at least 30 in 12 months before expiration. In case IRI renewal is required, 10h must be given IR training;
   • Passing a proficiency check in the 12 months preceding expiration. This condition is compulsory every other renewal.
   Lessons schedule is published in advance to allow students to be properly informed.
   • GROUND COURSE. The ground course (12h) is held in the classroom: subjects include teaching techniques, JAR-FCL rules, training missions development and recall FI, IRI, CRI courses contents. Books, maps and other learning aids are supplied by Aero Club Milano and as approved by relevant rules and standards.
3. COSTS.
   Cost is 400,- €.
4. DOCUMENTS.
   Since FI/CRI/IRI(A) is a legal document, it is necessary to open a folder at ENAC (Italian Aviation Authority) including the following documents and certificates. Burocratic part is taken care of by Aero Club Milano under student's delegation and is part of services offered by the Club.
